My Gentle Caution While the results shown on this website are extraordinary, there is no assurance that others will have the same experience.

Emotional Freedom Technique is still considered an experimental modality but personally I haven’t experienced any side effects when applying these techniques providing treatment protocols and suggestion have been followed.

However, this doesn’t mean that you won’t experience or perceive negative or unpleasant side effects. Therefore, we ask that you take note of the following:
  • Always use common sense when using EFT on yourself and do not go beyond your personal ability
  • You agree to accept full responsibility for your own emotional and physical wellbeing when using EFT.
  • Don’t attempt to treat deep or serious issues on yourself or others without appropriate formal training in Emotional Freedom Technique or with/and correct medical advice and assistance.

What is Emotional and Physical Pain?

There are many studies that point to the onset of pain at times of emotional distress. Pain and depression are closely related. Sometimes, depression causes unexplained physical symptoms — such as back pain or headaches. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) has proven very effective in treating the presenting physical symptoms as well as treating the underlying causes. In many cases there is a direct corelation in the reduction of physical pain as the emotional issues are completed.

In other cases, depression may increase your response to pain, or at least increase the suffering associated with pain. Conversely, chronic pain is stressful and depressing in itself. Sometimes pain and depression create a vicious cycle.

Some research shows that pain and depression share common pathways in the emotional (limbic) region of the brain. In fact, the same chemical messengers control pain and mood. In addition, both chronic pain and depression are influenced by genetic and environmental factors.
